Managing Bank Accounts for Incentives
Last updated: February 26, 2026
TeamCare uses Stripe to facilitate secure payments. Depending on your role, you will either be setting up a Company Account to send incentive payments or a Personal Account to receive them.
1. For Admins: Managing Company Payouts (Sending Money)
To automate staff incentives, the practice must link a company bank account to fund the payouts.
Where to go: Navigate to Settings (gear icon) > Incentives tab > Auto Payouts.
What you can do:
Link an Account: Connect the practice's primary bank account to enable rolling daily payouts.
Manage Defaults: If multiple accounts are linked, select the default account to be used for automated ACH charges.
View Details: Verify the Bank Name, Account Holder, and Routing Number currently on file.
2. For Employees: Receiving Your Incentives (Getting Paid)
To receive your earned bonuses via direct deposit, you must link your own personal bank account.
Where to go: Click your Profile Picture in the top right > Profile > Rewards & Commissions tab.
What you can do:
Enroll: Click the Stripe Enroll Account button to begin the secure onboarding process.
Monitor Status: Check your "Account Details" to see if your bank is successfully connected or if further action is needed.
Removing an Account & Data Privacy
Whether you are an admin or a staff member, you can remove your banking information at any time through your Stripe dashboard.
How to Disconnect: Log in to your Stripe account, navigate to Settings > Business > Bank accounts, and delete the linked account.
Data Destruction: Once you disconnect an account, your banking information is permanently destroyed. TeamCare does not store full account numbers or routing info on our servers; all sensitive data is handled by Stripe’s encrypted environment and is purged upon deletion.
Stripe Verification Checklist
To prevent your account from staying in a "Pending" status, have these items ready for Stripe:
Government ID: A clear photo of your Driver’s License or Passport.
Business Info: (For Admins) Your practice's EIN or Tax ID.
Verification: Occasionally, Stripe may ask for a photo of a voided check or bank statement to verify account ownership.
