Workflows Overview
Last updated: July 22, 2026
A Workflow is a repeatable outreach process for one group of patients — for example, patients overdue for hygiene, patients with unscheduled treatment, or patients with an appointment to confirm. Each workflow gives your team a running list of who to contact, the tools to reach them, and reporting on what's working.
The workflows
Hygiene Recare — re-engage patients overdue for a hygiene visit.
Treatment Plans — follow up with patients who have unscheduled (outstanding) treatment.
Confirmations — confirm upcoming appointments.
Appointment Requests — handle inbound requests for appointments.
Find them under Comms → Workflows → [workflow].
Every workflow has the same tabs
Overview — the workflow's key metrics and funnel at a glance.
Queue — the live list of patients needing outreach right now.
Reporting — results over time (e.g. Attempts, Attended, Completed, History — varies by workflow).
Campaigns — run a larger, multi-touch outreach push to a batch of patients (where enabled).
Settings — configure this workflow's messaging, cadence, and AI bot.
The shared building blocks
Every workflow is powered by the same core pieces. Learn each one once and it applies everywhere:
The Queue — who needs contacting. → Understanding the Queue
Outreach attempts — logging calls and contact by hand and recording the result. → Manually Tracking Outreach Attempts
Scripts — the message templates you send. → Communication Scripts
Cadences — automated multi-touch sequences. → Cadences
From here, see the workflow-specific guides (Hygiene Recare, Treatment Plans, Appointment Confirmations) for how each one works in practice.
