Viewing Reviews & the Leaderboard
Last updated: July 22, 2026
TeamCare gives you several ways to see your reviews — a metrics overview, a full log, a rating trend chart, and a staff leaderboard. This article walks through each.
Getting There
Go to Marketing → Reviews (star icon). The section has two main tabs:
Tab | What it shows |
|---|---|
Overview | Headline metrics — average rating, recent review count, and a breakdown by platform |
Logs | The complete list of every review that's come in |
From these you can open any individual review, filter and search, view the rating chart, and reach the leaderboard.
Overview
The Overview tab gives you the at-a-glance picture:
Average rating across your reviews
Recent review count (reviews in the last 30 days)
Reviews by platform breakdown (Google, Facebook, Yelp, internal, other)
Use it as your quick reputation pulse.
Logs (All Reviews)
The Logs tab lists every review, newest activity first. Here you can:
Search review content and filter by date.
See each review's star rating, platform, author, date, and whether it's been responded to ("No Response" or "Responded").
Click any review to open its detail view.
Star ratings are color-coded so high and low reviews stand out at a glance (5 and 4 stars read as positive; 1–2 stars are flagged in warmer/danger colors).
The Review Detail View
Opening a review shows three tabs:
Review — the rating, content, author, platform, and attributed staff.
Staff Announcement — a preview of the "New Review" email and a Send Mail button to send it on demand (see
Notifications).Patient Response — where a written response to the review can be recorded (marking the review as Responded).
The Rating Trend Chart
The reviews chart plots your performance over time as a monthly series:
Review count per month (columns), and
Average rating per month (line, shown with a ⭐).
This is the view to use when you want to show the trend — for example, whether a review push is moving the needle month over month.
The Staff Leaderboard
The leaderboard ranks your team by the reviews attributed to them.
Columns:
Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
Staff Member | The team member |
Week | Reviews in the last 7 days |
Month | Reviews in the last 30 days |
90-day | Reviews in the last 90 days |
Avg | Their average star rating |
Last Review | Their most recent review and its date |
The leaderboard is ranked by the 90-day count (most reviews over the last quarter at the top).
You can filter by role (for example, doctors, hygienists, or front desk) to compare like with like.
The Week / Month / 90-day numbers are clickable — click one to see exactly which reviews make up that count for that staff member.
Because the leaderboard is built from staff attribution, keeping attribution accurate (see Attributing Reviews to Staff) keeps the leaderboard fair.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: A staff member has fewer reviews than expected on the leaderboard. The leaderboard only counts reviews attributed to them. If reviews came in without a team assigned or were attributed to someone else, a manager can correct the attribution on each review.
Q: What's the difference between Overview and Logs? Overview is the summarized metrics view; Logs is the full, searchable list of individual reviews.
Q: How do I respond to a review? Open the review and use the Patient Response tab to record a response, which marks it Responded. (The public reply itself is posted on the platform, e.g. Google.)
Q: Can I see reviews for just one platform? The Overview breaks reviews down by platform, and the Logs list can be searched and filtered to find what you need.
