Review Requests — The Dashboard
Last updated: July 22, 2026
The Marketing → Review Requests area is your day-to-day home for review requests: seeing who's eligible, sending requests, and tracking responses. This article walks through each tab.
Getting There
Go to Marketing → Review Requests. The section has four tabs:
Tab | Purpose |
|---|---|
Overview | A summary of your review-request activity and reputation at a glance |
Queue | Upcoming and recent appointments whose patients are eligible to be asked |
History | Past requests and the responses they generated |
Settings | Workflow-level configuration for messaging and cadence |
Access note: The Review Requests dashboard is part of the Marketing/Reviews add-on and is permission-controlled. If you don't see it, ask an administrator to grant the Review Requests permission and confirm your practice has the Reviews subscription.
Overview
The Overview tab summarizes how your review-request program is performing — recent activity and reputation signals in one place. Use it for a quick pulse check without digging into individual patients.
Queue
The Queue lists appointments whose patients are eligible for a review request after a recent visit. Think of it as your working list:
Review who's coming up or was recently seen.
Confirm eligible patients are being asked (either automatically via auto-send, or manually).
Spot patients who were skipped or opted out.
Most actual sending happens at the appointment checkout (see Triggering & Sending); the Queue gives you the bird's-eye view to make sure nobody eligible is falling through the cracks.
History
The History tab shows past review requests and their outcomes — which patients were asked, when, and how they responded. Use it to:
Confirm requests actually went out.
See which patients rated their visit and where they were routed.
Track your review-generation trend over time.
Settings
The Settings tab within the dashboard covers workflow-level options for messaging and cadence.
Note: The core configuration — enabling the feature, choosing scripts, and setting the auto-send delay — lives under Settings → Marketing → Review Requests → Configuration, and your review-platform links live under Settings → Marketing → Reviews. See Setup & Company Settings.
The Patient Experience
When a patient acts on a review request, here's what they see:
Rating screen — a clean 1–5 star prompt asking how their visit went.
Public review prompt — after rating, buttons appear to leave a review on Google ("Review Us on Google"), and, if you've configured them, Facebook ("Review Us on Facebook") and Yelp ("Review Us on Yelp").
Feedback captured — the star rating is saved in TeamCare either way, so you always have visibility into how patients feel.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I don't see the Review Requests section under Marketing. It's part of the Reviews add-on and is permission-gated. An administrator needs to grant you the Review Requests permission, and your practice needs the Reviews subscription.
Q: What's the difference between the dashboard Settings tab and the Settings menu? The dashboard Settings tab holds workflow/cadence options. The main Settings → Marketing → Review Requests page holds the feature toggle, scripts, and send delay. Review-platform links are under Settings → Marketing → Reviews.
Q: Where do I actually send a request? Day-to-day sending happens on the Reviews tab of the appointment checkout. The dashboard Queue is for oversight; History is for tracking results.
Q: Can I see whether a patient left a public Google/Facebook review? TeamCare records the star rating the patient gave in the funnel and routes them to your public platforms. Public reviews themselves are posted on those external sites once the patient completes them there.
