Don't manage multiple clinics across browser tabs

Last updated: July 4, 2026

If you have TeamCare open in more than one browser tab with each tab set to a different clinic, TeamCare can't keep them straight, and any action you take (dispositions, notes, form submits) may save to the wrong patient or fail outright.

Here's the typical symptom: you click Make Attempt to pull up a patient's name and number, make your call, then come back to dispose it, but now the patient's name looks different, or the clinic itself has switched. The disposition no longer lines up with the patient you actually called.

Why this happens

TeamCare tracks one active clinic per login session, and that setting is shared across every tab you have open. It is not stored separately per tab. When you switch clinics in one tab, you switch it everywhere. The other tab still shows the old patient on screen, but behind the scenes it's now pointed at the newly selected clinic. So when you submit from that stale tab, TeamCare applies the action under the currently active clinic, not the one still displayed. The old tab's session is no longer honored.

What to do instead

- Work in one clinic at a time.

- Keep TeamCare in a single tab. If you need to change clinics, switch inside that one tab.

- Before you dispose or submit, confirm the patient and clinic shown at the top match who you actually called. If they don't, refresh and reselect before saving.
