AI Voice (AI Agents)

Last updated: July 22, 2026

AI Voice brings automated phone calls to your outreach. AI Agents are your inbound and outbound voice assistants — they can place and answer calls on the practice's behalf, following a natural conversation instead of a fixed script.

Where AI Agents live

Go to Comms → Admin → AI Agents. Each workflow (Hygiene Recare, Confirmations, Treatment Plans) has its own agent, with tabs for:

  • Analytics — how the agent is performing.

  • Conversations — call history and transcripts.

  • Settings — the agent's phone number, workflow, and configuration.

💡 Tip: AI Voice is a separate feature that must be enabled for your practice. If you don't see AI Agents, it hasn't been turned on.

How campaigns use AI Voice

A campaign uses AI Voice when its cadence includes an AI phone call touch. On that touch you'll see "AI-guided call — no script needed" — the agent handles the conversation itself, so there's no message template to write.

Before you can launch with AI calls

If your campaign's cadence includes an AI phone call, the practice must have an AI Agent configured for that workflow — with a phone number and a workflow assigned — before the campaign can launch. If it isn't set up yet, launch is blocked with a message telling you what's missing. Set the agent up first under Comms → Admin → AI Agents, then return to launch.

Note: AI is voice-only

There are no AI reply suggestions or AI drafting in the Messaging inbox — the inbox is human-authored (Reply / Internal note). AI in Comms means the voice agents described here.
