Cadences in Campaigns

Last updated: July 22, 2026

The Cadence step decides how persistent the follow-up is: "How persistent should follow-up be?" A cadence is the sequence of touches each enrolled patient receives — across calls, texts, email, and mailed letters — spread over several days.

Choosing a cadence

You pick one cadence for the campaign. Each option shows, at a glance:

  • Cost per patient

  • Number of touches

  • Sequence length (in days)

Expand a cadence to reveal every touch in order — its channel, its timing (Day N, or same-day), and the exact script that will be used.

Channels a cadence can use

  • Phone call

  • AI phone call — an AI-guided call that needs no script

  • Text message

  • Email

  • Mailed letter

Editing a cadence

Need to adjust the wording or timing? Use the Edit cadence link to open the cadence editor. Cadences are managed centrally under Comms → Admin → Cadences, where TeamCare's ready-made Default cadences live; the first time you edit one, the system creates your practice's own copy. See Cadences in the Workflows section for the full details.
